Construction Safety Research Partnership (CSRP) - NEW MEMBERS WELCOME!

About the CSRP

The Construction Safety Research Partnership (CSRP) is a community of organizations working together to investigate and develop new ideas and resources for improving occupational safety and health (OSH) in the architecture/engineering/construction (AEC) industry. The CSRP provides an opportunity for AEC industry organizations to leverage their collective knowledge and resources to collaboratively solve problems and explore new ideas for improving safety and health in the AEC industry.

The CSRP is designed to focus on the science of safety and lead innovative and collaborative research on topics related to safety in the AEC industry. The CSRP additionally aims to: (1) generate interest in safety and health from a wide spectrum of the industry; (2) promote and facilitate active involvement of AEC industry organizations to improve safety performance in the industry; and (3) support OSU as a leader in construction worker safety and health research and education.

CSRP Activities

Example CSRP partner organization activities:

  • Generate new ideas for improving safety in the AEC industry and develop the ideas into feasible research studies
  • Provide advice for conducting research on safety topics in the AEC industry
  • Participate in research projects conducted by the CSRP
  • Suggest how to transfer CSRP research findings into resources and tools for practical application in the AEC industry and for academic reference and use
  • Implement the resources and tools developed on construction projects to improve worker safety in partner organizations and throughout the industry
  • Advise, evaluate, and promote the CSRP
  • Meet on a regular basis or as needed to advise the partnership and perform needed tasks to sustain the CSRP
